We were formed with one goal in mind: to reduce the number of DWI arrests in Springfield and Greene County!

Many people either don't go out when they can't designate a driver, or end up calling it a night earlier than they would really like to because they are responsible, and don't want the embarrassment or financial burden of a DWI. Many times they don't want to pay pricey cab fares, or leave their car in a bar's parking lot overnight -- only to have to take a return cab in the morning to pick it up. Sometimes people have to plan a night out several days or weeks in advance so they can have a designated driver. While we support the use of a personal designated driver, we understand that it is sometimes difficult, even unfair, to ask one friend or relative to miss out on the fun and be the only person that doesn't drink.

Substitute Drivers is going to change that. We want you to be able to go out anytime you like, and as often as you like! You will never have to worry about having a safe, sober ride home IN YOUR OWN CAR again!
